It is almost impossible to visit without seeing the Eiffel Tower. Even if you do not wish to visit the world famous tower you will see the spire from the very center of Paris. The tower is 300 meters high, when it was built at the end of the 19th century.
The Eiffel Tower is a must-see anytime, but there is something magical about visiting the Eiffel Tower at night. Riding up the tower at night to the top, looking out over the streets of Paris, you’ll see why Paris is known as the “City of Light.” At street level, seeing the spotlight on the top of the Tower zoom across the Paris skyline, and the reflection of the Tower in the Seine
Montmartre is one of my favourite place in Paris.
I think that what tourists like here is the striking contrast between the village look of the Butte Montmartre and the very architecturally (Haussmann) organized spaces of the centre.
Presently this “aspect villageois” is amplified by the sightseeing and commercial function of the Place du Tertre. A positive point is the fact that the houses are maintained in a good state what is not the case in ordinary French villages.
Paris department stores are famous for being worlds unto themselves.Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores dominate Boulevard Haussmann with real Belle Epoque grandeur, concentrating top designer collections for men and women, gourmet food shopping, home design, jewelry, and even hardware into a labyrinth of consumer delights.
Gare saint lazare
The Gare Saint-Lazare has been represented in a number of artworks. It attracted artists during the Impressionist period and many of them lived very close to the Gare St-Lazare during the 1870s and 1880s.
ROLAND GARROS PARIS
If you are a tennis player or fan then a visit to Roland Garros in southwest Paris is very rewarding.
I played high level tennis during 15 years and i can tell it’s my second pasion after traveling.
I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Men ‘s Final 2010 Nadal/Soderling.
.Here is a great place to go if you want to have fun with your friends or your family…
It is made up of Walt Disney Studios, Disneyland Park, Disney Village, Disney Golf and various hotels. I went for a day trip on the train from Paris, and spent most of the day in the Park and spent a couple of hours in the Studios.
I love the area at the Champs, not just for shopping but also to get socialised, to walk up and down the Boulevard, find the little secrets of the narrow streets crossing the Champs and mostly as getting tired to grab a chair on a cafe .
The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is one of the most famous streets and one of the most expensive strips of real estate in the world.
Several French monuments are also on the street including the Arc de Triomphe and the Place de la Concorde. The name is French for Elysian Fields the place of the blessed dead in Greek mythology. The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is known as “The most beautiful avenue in the world”, La plus belle avenue du monde in French.
